The Information Technology department of the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) is currently expanding its outreach to technology staff in K-12 schools across Kansas. Efforts are underway to establish new communication channels for disseminating resources to district technology personnel. While the primary focus is on cybersecurity, the aim is to beneficially impact all facets of information technology. Information is being gathered on technology-related events across the state to create a comprehensive events calendar.  We have also launched a new website at cybersecurity.ksde.org, which will feature articles and event updates.

In addition to resources, we will also describe the work conducted in the KSDE IT department, particularly the applications developed for data collection. Through this process, we aim to gather feedback so that we can serve as a resource for school districts.
